Deb is a photographer & coach with over 20 years creative experience and a Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in Photography.

After many years smashing it in the wedding industry, Deb felt the call to dive deep into the work of her Soul. Her personal awakening took her on yoga retreats to Bali, through Reiki training to Master/Teacher level, through many coaching programs, and of course many dark nights of the soul.

"For many years I could feel the longing to create some kind of photography experience where women could actually transform from the shoot. Not the kind of makeover portraits where you end up not looking like yourself, but the kind that would draw out and highlight the natural beauty and the soul essence of the individual being. After moving into the spiritual community with my work, I birthed the idea for these incredible photo shoots that not only provide an extremely high quality end product, but are an EXPERIENCE - an Activation.

As an energy healer and coach that specialises in visibility, confidence and self expression, I found that I had something really unique to offer. I have the ability to channel, to code the creation, to come up with a creative brief, to work with plans and also completely intuitively, which allows for the ultimate expression of the individual."

ELEVATE PHOTOGRAPHY RETREAT

ABOUT THE RETREAT.

Here is an example of how a retreat unfolds. Things may differ for you as every creation is bespoke...

Around 10am on day one of the shoot, you arrive at my air bnb accommodation with all of your outfits, props and accessories.

The glam squad then arrives, and you can relax with a beverage while you are given a stunning makeover with professional hair and makeup.

Business power shots take place at the bnb and then out and about as planned.

I'll organise a delicious lunch which we will share. The pace is relaxed. Then, if you're game, we will return for some boudoir shots.

From here, we head out to your accommodation. You can then relax in your room or spa for a couple of hours. Enjoy a massage or a reiki session with me.

I'll provide you with some high vibe kai, and then leave you to integrate and rest.

The next morning we meet early, and I assist you with hair and makeup. We then move into other expressions of you and your Mission of Light in co-creation with mother nature. This day is all about working with Gaia and the landscape, letting nature codes work with your mission. Again, the pace is relaxed.

Enjoy another night of deep rest and integration - with more photography if desired. The last day we finish with a morning yoga, breath work, and guided meditation to anchor the next iteration of you deeply into your body.

Option to continue the relaxation with a trip to The Lost Spring.

PLANNING

Your VIP service includes as many emails, message and texts as it takes! But the real planning happens when we get together for our Creative Planning Session. This is where we start to tap into the energy of who you are, what you do, how you BE and what you want to CREATE next. We will gather the vibe and the feel. We'll get to know each other. The creative portal is open!

I then go away and 'digest and download'. From here, I create a mood board based on what you have shared and what I have felt from you. This is then used as a guide for us to create with on the day of your shoot. It's not necessarily the exact shots - but the 'vibe'.

You will receive a timetable and a list of things to bring with the visual plan.

PROCESS

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deliverables:

2 Nights accommodation. Professional hair and makeup x 1. Hair and makeup by Deb x 1. Meals over the course of the retreat. Pamper session such as a swim at the Lost Spring and 1 x body treatment by Deb or selected practitioner. 2 full days photography shooting. All edited digital files. 2 x 1:1 online sessions.

Payment:

The energy exchange for this experience is $10,000 inc GST pay in full OR: 12 x payments of $850 OR: 18 payments of $570 per month. The booking becomes confirmed upon signing of your contract and making either full payment or activating your payment link. If Client selects a payment plan option, Client agrees to pay fees to the Photographer according to the payment schedule set forth on Photographer's website, or otherwise provided to Client, and the payment plan selected by Client (the “Fee”). Credit Card Authorisation (if applicable for payment plan). Each Party hereto acknowledges that Photographer will charge the credit card chosen by the Client. In the event Client fails to make any of the payments within a payment plan during the time prescribed, Photographer has the right to disable gallery link access. If Client has not paid within fourteen (14) days, Photographer has the right to terminate agreement AND pursue remainder of the payment plan contract through a 3rd party, such as Debt Collectors. Specifically Baycorp NZ.

Cancellation/Refunds:

Bookings are limited and often made many months in advance. Cancellation of your shoot will result in a $1000 fee being retained by the photographer for potential lost business and admin fees. If the accommodation and extra services have also been booked or deposits made, these costs will also be retained. The balance, if any will be refunded. In the event of illness of either party, all efforts will be made to reschedule.

Travel and Accommodation:

Travel and accommodation for the photographer are included in your package price for the north island of New Zealand. For jobs further afield, additional costs will apply and will be quoted on an individual basis. The VIP experience does not include any travel costs for the client.

Responsibilities:

The Photographer will be responsible for booking accommodation, extra services, professional hair and makeup, meals and all photography and planning sessions as stipulated in the VIP service. The Client is responsible for supplying the clothing, accessories and props for their photo shoot.

Editing:

All of your images are edited to the photographer’s personal style, although your input PRIOR is welcome. Special requests for complex photo-shopping will be carried out and charged at the current rate of Queensberry and Company.

Liability:

While every possible care will be taken, if the photographer is unable to meet her obligations in part or in whole through failure of equipment, corrupted memory cards or any other reason, liability is limited to a refund of the money paid: specifically for the photographs only. No liability is accepted for the omission of any specific photograph in the coverage.

Health and Safety:

In signing this form, the contracting party agrees that Debbie Lim will not be held responsible for any injury sustained during the photo shoot by any person being photographed. The client agrees to take full ownership for poses and state their right to refuse any poses or locations in which they do not feel safe or comfortable.

Weather:

In the event of bad weather, VIP Deluxe services will go ahead regardless, and embrace mother nature in all her glory - you will have plenty of inside shots to look glamorous in your hair and makeup.

Copyright:

In signing this form the client agrees that this is not a commission and that Debbie Lim retains the copyright in all photographs. Photographs taken by Debbie Lim may be used for competition, display, promotion and advertising via social media, web or any other purpose. You will be supplied a license to use the images. Social media designs will be fully released to the client.

Privacy:

Due to the nature of your shoot, some photographs may be of a sensitive nature. The photographer will not share any photographs that compromise your privacy, for e.g. nude or semi nude shots without your express written permission.

Extra Services:

Reiki and Aroma touch massage are not available for pregnant clients. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Debbie Lim of any health conditions that may be relevant to private yoga, reiki or aroma touch massage sessions. The client acknowledges that these modalities are complementary therapies, and should not be used in the place of qualified medical advice.

Delivery:

A preview of highlights will be available via email within 14 days of the shoot, and will be supplied via a secure online gallery. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for the delivery of your digital files. You will be supplied a link. This link will remain live for 3 months before it is archived. It is the client’s responsibility to save and backup these files. The photographer has her own backup methods but will not be held liable for loss or damage of any original digital files. A file retrieval fee will apply for requests to re-supply digital files to the client after the 3 month period. These times are a guide only and may fluctuate due to workload and season for the photographer.
